Technical Recruiter Virtual About The Role We are building out our People team and are looking for an experienced technical recruiter to help with recruiting efforts with a focus on sourcing diverse candidates. This will be an exciting opportunity for someone to work for a fast-paced startup and learn how to develop diverse talent pipelines and headhunt diverse and elite talent. What You'll Be Doing Utilize various job boards to source diverse candidates and proactively focus on BIPOC candidates Work with hiring managers to optimize job descriptions that contain non-biased language Mentor hiring managers on how to evaluate candidates objectively Create interviewing workflows utilizing an ATS Conduct initial screens to gauge a person’s ability to do the job they are applying for, focusing on technical aptitude for tech rolesWork with the community and local colleges/universities to create diverse talent pipelines Find opportunities for Esper to participate in local and virtual career fairs Generate reports on the hiring pipeline and time to fill statistics for leadership Offer input on all communications, social media accounts, and career page to ensure they have non-discriminatory language Keep track of diversity metrics Support other assigned functions as needed What We're Looking For 3+ years experience in a similar position, specifically technical recruiting Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Tech savvy and willing and able to learn new systems quickly Self-starter with the ability to work independently and complete projects with little guidance Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Flexible and able to context switch throughout the day as priorities change Bonus if you have prior startup experience Excited and motivated to learn new things and grow professionally Bachelor’s Degree (bonus but not required) Perks & Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision 90% covered by the companyEquity is given as part of offer letters 401K with a company match that vests immediately Monthly phone and Internet reimbursement Unlimited time off policy with a mandatory 2 weeks time off (minimum) Catered lunch every day in the office Wide variety of snacks in the office Each new employee gets access to LinkedIn Learning, which is paid for by Esper because we want employees to continue to grow personally and professionally Ergonomics standup desks with 35” curved widescreen monitors for each employee Mac or PC, depending on your OS preference Team hikes and other events (e.g. mini-golf, etc.) on a monthly basis This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to join a fast-growing tech startup.
